We have dedicated this page to our 'extended family'.
All of our puppies went to loving, caring homes and we regularly receive emails and photographs
informing us of their progress. Here are just a few recent comments from families who, by taking
one of our puppies, have become family friends.

Chris, Kate and Harvey (Gateshead)
|
We got Harvey from Churchrose Labradors in December 2007 and have never looked back! The service that we received from
Allison and Neil was, and still is, second to none.
Harvey was only one week old when we paid our deposit so we thought that the next 7 weeks would feel like a lifetime
before we could bring him home, but we were sent e-mails every week telling us how the puppies were getting on and lots
of photos so we could see them growing. We were made to feel involved every step of the way, which was really nice.
When we went to choose which pup we would be taking we were made to feel right at home – the only hard part was
choosing just one as they were all so adorable!
Since bringing Harvey home he has been an absolute credit to Allison and Neil and all the hard work that they put in
with him. He was house trained at 8 weeks old, which we never expected! Everyone comments on his lovely nature and
how well behaved he is for such a young dog. He’s so laid back around the house and gets on great with our three cats,
which was a relief! He loves the outdoors and really thrives on his walks – he would stay out all day if he could.
He responded brilliantly to training - picking up commands more or less straight away - and is great both on the lead
and off. We think he would make a fabulous gundog although we keep him just as a pet.
If we were to ever think about getting another puppy we wouldn’t go anywhere other than Churchrose. We put Harvey’s
fantastic temperament and nature down to the time and effort that Allison and Neil put in with him in the first 8 weeks,
also in taking the time to find the perfect stud for Delly. It is also good to know that they’re always on the end of
the phone should we need any advice.
Harvey is a pleasure to have around and we can’t imagine life without him now! So thanks to Allison and Neil for
everything - we couldn’t have wished for a better puppy and wouldn’t change him for the world.

Chris, Dawn and Bodhi (Jersey)
|
Since my wife and I brought Bodhi back to the the island of Jersey we have been on a trip of happiness and had a
wonderful insight into the world of puppy parenthood.
He has settled into beach life like a natural, digging in the sand at any moment and bounding about with his tail
constantly wagging. His favourite game is fetch. We were amazed that with in a few days of having him home he would
fetch anything that was thrown and he drops it right at our feet! It is a pleasure walking him as he interacts with all
the other walkers and dogs wonderfully. He is a fully fledged member of the dog bum sniffers of Jersey.
He will happily hang out with our friends on the beach whilst we are out surfing and is wonderful with all the children.
He will interact with anyone and has the most wonderful temperament. His training is coming along brilliantly, which is
largely due to Allison & Neil and the hard-work they had put in prior to us bringing him home.
We are hoping to have him out on the surfboard as soon as he is confident in the water, which I am thinking wont be long as
he now manages to sniff out any puddle that is with in the vicinity.
We love having Bodhi around and can not imagine life without him!

David, Amanda and Wicket (Shipley)
|
Although Wicket didn't officially join us until December 2007 we feel as if we have known him since he was first born.
Allison and Neil kept us informed of his progress from 2 weeks old and as we live within an hours travel distance we
were invited to drop in and see him as soon as it was allowable and as often as we wanted - which meant every week from
4 weeks onwards! Allison, Neil and their family invited us into their home and encouraged us to spend as much time
as we wanted with our new puppy. It was a privilege to see how quickly he developed in those 4 weeks before he came
home and it gave us an insight into his character and meant the he settled in immediately when he came home
It is hard to describe the pure pleasure and happiness that Wicket has brought us, everyone who meets him says he
always looks to be smiling and it's true. He is a very happy ball of furry fun, with such a calm and loveable
disposition. He loves to be cuddled and adores his cuddly toys but he also loves his exercise and we are so proud of
him as he is so well behaved when he is out with us. He is great with children and adults alike. I think it is worthy
of mention that Wicket was toilet trained at 8 weeks thanks to the hard work that Allison (and Neil and their family)
put in and for which we are very grateful!
I would recommend Churchrose Labradors to anyone wanting a Labrador be it as a gundog or a pet. Neil and Allison mix
experience and knowledge with love and affection and the puppies are introduced to the world as part of their own
family. They gave us advice and support before we brought Wicket home and since then have been at the end of the
phone for us when we need advice about worming or how much to feed him or whatever!
We feel blessed to have Wicket as part of our family and can’t believe how lucky we have been!
